Vegan Vitamin D3

Vitamin D3, also known as Cholecalciferol, is a type of vitamin D that is produced by the skin. It is used to treat and prevent vitamin D deficiency. Cholecalciferol is produced by the skin when it is exposed to UVB light. In the liver, it is converted into calcifediol (25-hydroxyvitamin D), which is then converted in the kidney to calcitriol (1,25- dihydroxy vitamin D).
